Terms
Coaching terms
Last updated 24 September 2026
These terms cover the services I provide and your use of this website. Before you pay for anything, I give you a written agreement that sets out the service you're buying, the price, the start date, how payment works and how to cancel. Filling in the intake form does not place an order, start paid coaching or authorise a payment.
1. Who provides the service
B. Morvay Coaching is run by Balazs Morvay, a sole trader based in Edinburgh, Scotland. You can contact me at morvaybalazs@gmail.com or on 07914 390913. My postal address is in your written agreement.
The services are for adults aged 18 or over.
2. What each service includes
Coaching (£200 a month)
- A training plan built from your questionnaire, goals, equipment and schedule, and adjusted when your check-ins show it should change
- A nutrition plan with daily calorie and protein targets and simple rules for adjusting them, if you want one. It is not a meal plan.
- A ready-written prompt in your plan that you can paste into an AI chat to estimate what you eat and count it against your targets. It is a convenience and not coaching advice. Any AI service you use is your own, under its own terms, and I am not responsible for what it tells you.
- A check-in after your first week, then every two weeks, with a video or phone call when it helps
- Messages by WhatsApp, iMessage or email
- Feedback on videos of your lifts, up to 2 a week
- A review at the end of each block of training, and your next block built from it
- Home gym planning if you need it
Programme Block (£100, one-off): a personal 4 to 12 week training plan for you to follow on your own. It does not include check-ins, messaging or a nutrition plan.
In-person sessions (£60 each): at your home gym, my private garage gym, or a gym in or near Edinburgh that allows visiting trainers. You don't need to take coaching to book one.
Mobile sports massage (£50 for 45 minutes): at your home, in Edinburgh and nearby, subject to availability.
Home gym planning: equipment and layout advice only, with no building work. It's included with coaching. On its own, it is quoted by scope and the price is agreed in writing before any work starts.
3. Check-ins, messages and reply times
- Your plan lists your check-in dates. You can send an extra check-in, or message me, any time.
- I reply to messages and check-ins within two working days. Working days are Monday to Friday, not including public holidays.
- I reply to enquiries from this website within one working day.
- If you miss a check-in, send it when you can. Coaching isn't extended because a check-in was missed.
- If I'm going to be away, I'll tell you in advance where I can, and we'll agree any cover, new dates or credit for support I can't give.
Messages are not an emergency service. If you have chest pain, fainting, severe breathlessness or another urgent symptom, stop exercising and call 999. For urgent advice that isn't an emergency, call NHS 111.
4. Health and exercise
- Tell me about your health conditions, injuries, medicines, symptoms and any exercise restrictions, and tell me when something changes. If you're not sure about something, say so.
- Exercise has risks. Use suitable equipment, ask when you don't understand an exercise, and stop an exercise if it causes worrying symptoms.
- I may pause or change an exercise, or ask you to get advice from a doctor or physiotherapist before we continue. Some health conditions need a doctor's OK before coaching can start.
- I'm a personal trainer, not a doctor, physiotherapist or registered dietitian. Coaching doesn't replace diagnosis, treatment or rehabilitation, and my nutrition guidance stays within my qualifications.
- If you take a prescribed medicine, including a GLP-1 medicine, your prescriber stays in charge of it. I don't advise on starting, changing or stopping any medicine.
- You can stop an exercise, or stop coaching, at any time.
5. Prices and payment
- Coaching is £200 a month, paid in advance. It renews each month until you cancel. There is no minimum term.
- A Programme Block is £100, paid before I start building it.
- In-person sessions and massage are paid as agreed when you book.
- I won't add charges, or renew your service on terms you haven't agreed. I'll give you at least 30 days' written notice before a price change, and you can cancel before it takes effect.
6. Cancelling and refunds
Coaching
- To cancel, email or message me before your next payment date. That stops future payments. Your coaching carries on until the end of the month you've paid for, and I'll confirm the end date in writing.
- 14-day money-back promise: if you tell me within 14 days of starting coaching that you're not happy, I'll refund you in full. This is in addition to your legal rights.
- After that, cancelling doesn't normally refund a month that has already started. This doesn't limit any refund the law requires, or your rights if the service isn't provided with reasonable care and skill.
- Want to pause instead? Ask me. A pause needs to be agreed in writing.
Programme Blocks
- You can cancel for a full refund at any time before I deliver your programme.
- Before I start, I'll ask you to confirm in writing that you want me to begin within your 14-day cancellation period, and that you understand you lose the right to cancel once the programme has been delivered.
- If something in the delivered programme doesn't fit your equipment, schedule or ability, I'll make one round of changes free of charge within 14 days of delivery.
In-person sessions and massage
- Please give at least 24 hours' notice to move or cancel a session. With less notice, I may charge up to the price of the session, taking your circumstances into account.
- There's no charge if I have to cancel.
- Sessions at a gym depend on that gym allowing visiting trainers.
If I can't provide something we agreed, we'll agree a fair remedy, including a refund where one is due.
7. Your 14-day right to cancel
When you buy a service online, by phone or by email, you normally have 14 days from the day we make the agreement to cancel without giving a reason.
- To cancel, tell me clearly by email or post. You can use the form at the end of this page, but you don't have to.
- If you asked me to start within those 14 days and then cancel, you may have to pay for the part of the service already provided. For coaching, the 14-day money-back promise above still applies.
- If you asked me to start and the service has been fully provided within the 14 days, the right to cancel ends once it has been provided. I'll only rely on this if you asked me in writing to start and confirmed you understood this.
- I refund money due under this right within 14 days of you telling me, to the way you paid unless we agree otherwise.
8. Your plans and the free guides
- Your plans are for your own use. Please don't sell or share them as coaching material. You can keep copies and share them with a health professional who is advising you.
- The text, images, guides and design on this website belong to B. Morvay Coaching. You're welcome to use the free guides for your own training, but please don't republish or sell them.
- The free guides are general information for healthy adults, not personal advice. If you have a health condition, an injury or pain, check with a health professional before following them.
- My privacy notice explains how I use your information. I ask separately, and you can say no, before using a testimonial or photo of you.
9. Problems and complaints
If something isn't right, email me with what went wrong and what would help put it right. I'll acknowledge your complaint within two working days and give you a full answer within ten working days. If it needs longer, I'll explain why and keep you updated. This doesn't limit your right to independent advice or to take other action.
10. Your legal rights
- I provide every service with reasonable care and skill.
- I can't promise a particular change in your weight, strength, appearance or performance, because results depend on many things, including your circumstances and how the plan fits your life.
- Nothing in these terms excludes or limits my liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn't allow me to exclude or limit.
- Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
- These terms are governed by Scots law. If you live in England, Wales or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts, and you keep any protection your local law gives you.
- If I change these terms, I'll tell current clients before the change affects them. Your written agreement records the version that applies to you.
11. Cancellation form
You don't have to use this form. An email saying you want to cancel is enough.
