What qualifications do you have?

I hold a Physical Activity and Health BSc (Hons), I'm a qualified sports massage therapist, and I have over 10 years of experience in personal training, specialising in sustainable approaches for busy professionals.

Where are you based?

I'm based in Edinburgh, Scotland. Online coaching is my primary service and is available worldwide. If you're in or near Edinburgh, in-person training and mobile sports massage are also available.

Do you work with people on GLP-1 medications (Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro)?

Yes - this is a core specialism. Research shows 25-39% of the weight lost on GLP-1 medications can be muscle rather than fat. I help you protect that muscle with strength training and protein-first nutrition while you're on the medication, and build the habits that keep the weight off when you come off it. Ideally we start working together 4-6 weeks before you stop the medication, but any time is better than going it alone.

Do you offer online personal training?

Yes - online coaching is my primary service. You can train anywhere with custom programmes, form check videos, and direct messaging support throughout the day. If you're in or near Edinburgh, in-person sessions are available at your home gym or my private garage gym.

How much does coaching cost and what's included?

A one-off Programme Block is £100: a bespoke 4-12 week programme built around your goals, equipment, and schedule. It's programme only - no check-ins, coaching, or nutrition support. Full Coaching is £200/month: weekly programme updates, detailed form check videos on your exercise execution, nutrition guidance, direct messaging support (I'm typically available from early morning until evening and reply within a few hours - I'm one person, not a 24-hour helpdesk, but you won't be left hanging), and weekly or fortnightly check-ins with performance reviews on whichever rhythm suits you. In-person sessions are £60 each for coaching clients in the Edinburgh area.

Can you help me set up a home gym?

Yes. I help you plan exactly what to buy for your space, goals, and budget, and how to lay it out - equipment and layout only, before you spend a penny. It's included with coaching, or available as a standalone consultation - every project is different, so it's quoted individually. Ask about it in a free consultation. Do you offer sports massage?

Yes - mobile sports massage at your home for £50 per 45-minute session, available to clients in Edinburgh and nearby. It's subject to availability, and coaching clients get priority booking.

Are there any contracts?

No contracts or long-term commitments. For coaching, if it's not the right fit in the first two weeks I'll refund you in full - no questions - and after that you can cancel anytime with no fees or exit charges. One-off programme blocks are refundable any time before delivery; once your bespoke block is delivered it's yours to keep, and I'll make one free round of adjustments in the first two weeks if anything doesn't fit your setup.

What if I miss sessions?

Life happens. We can adapt with home workouts, walks, runs, or playing with kids depending on your goals. Programmes auto-regulate to keep you progressing.

Do you provide meal plans?

I don't provide exact meal plans, but I help with nutrition guidance, calorie targets, and meal ideas. Clients typically use tracking apps like MyFitnessPal connected to their workout data.

How do check-ins work?

You send videos of your working sets and share food tracking data. We do video or phone check-ins. I focus on stats and how you feel - no need for photos if you're uncomfortable with them.
